Getting healthy is one of the best things we can do with our lives. Working out and exercising causes muscles to grow, fat to be lost and mental health to improve. Exercise should always be done in moderation, and you shouldn’t be under the impression that working out for a long period of time will be more beneficial to your health than a short, focused period. Not only can you inflict massive stress on your cardiovascular system and muscles, but working out in this way will not be as effective as properly spacing out your exercise. For instance, it would be better for you to exercise for a short period every day than to exercise once for a long time every Sunday.
This notion of not overworking yourself should also be remembered when using weights to increase muscle. While it’s easy to be pressured by your buddies to go to a level of weights you aren’t ready for, you should always trust what your feelings tell you, and not go over the place you think is safe for you. Weights could sometimes be quite dangerous, especially bench-pressing, as you’re forcing a considerable amount of weight upon yourself.
